Quick stupid question, can I bring up two on air callers at a time through one pot and not get feedback ? Don't want to try and risk on air.

If you are using a Telos Direct Interface Module or a 1A2 Interface you can put two callers on one hybrid at the same time. You would press the button for the line that the first caller is on twice to keep the line from dropping when you select the second caller.

You should not get feedback but you do run the risk of one caller being lower than the other.

I am assuming that you have a mix-minus the phone feeding the hybrid. If not you do run the risk of ringing...

I would give it a try and see if it works...

Why not use your audition bus to test with. Most consoles have a selectable monitor source so you could listen to audition and have 2 people call.

We use direct interface with 2 hybrids and have sucessfully placed 4 callers on air at the same time.

We had to callers locked and we could dump the 2 non locked callers when the jock was doen with them.
