Tempie Lindsey to Middays on WRR

Is this the same guy who was an afternoon jock on 99.5 KISS-FM San Antonio in the mid 80's? The name sounds very familiar. Lived in SA in the 80's and the name just rings a bell, I might be mistaken.

Not a guy. Tempe is a gal. And what a gal!
You recall that she was the morning hostess on KISS-FM, after she and her partner, Tim Spencer, left Q-102 to take over 99.5 KISS in San Antonio.

Whoops, my bad. I might be going senile here in my old age. Thanks for the info and at least letting me know I had the KISS info somewhat correct.

It'll be good to hear her fantastic voice and delivery again.

Glad for Tempie but too bad it is God awful classical music.

Hey, that music calmed down my hyper (22 year old, middle child syndrome) daughter, several times as she zoomed out the door at 90 mph. After the first time I told her to listen, she called me and said she felt better and more relaxed. That was major for her. :)

IIRC, I think WRR use to have an ad saying "The Greatest Hits of the 1600, 1700, and 1800's"

Excuse me, but Rock n' Roll music is G-d awful in many people's opinions.

Classical is bad music.

Sorry, but chamber music is some of the best music, ever...

Dungeon chamber music. The only time classical music was relevent with me was about 22 years ago when Coach Hitchcock (Former Kimball head football coach) would put WRR on the system in the Varisty locker room before we played a game.

To me, the only folk who listen to classical music have the last names of Crow, Haliday and Hunt.

Haliday is a P-1 Day 1.

And since she's an accomplished ukelele-ist, there's probably room for her on the KXT playlist.

You made my day! That's just tooooo funny!

If it was bad, it wouldn't have survived several hundred years.....

Thats my opinion and I said it.

I listen to it from time to time in my car. It does have a nice calming effect on me as I am driving on the Freeways of the Metromess.
