Tempo

Does Dance stations/music have to be fast (tempo)? There are a few good songs out there that are not. One that comes to mind is Bad Day. I have listened to a few stations that seem to drop the tempo down every so often. Was wondering if that is a bad thing to do. Or should Dance always been fast.

No, dance music does not always have to be "fast". There have been plenty of dance songs over the last 30 years that have a BPM under 110.

Dance music has more to do with a feeling than with a tempo.
At least in my eyes.

I was kinda thinking that, but wanted to see what everyone else thought about it. After listening to a few stations I have noticed the tempo does drop a little from time to time and it sounded pretty good. What are some songs that would work?
