I'm amazed that this hasn't been posted or mentioned already. Thursday, DePetro and St Pierre apparently had a heated exchange. DePetro then took Friday off unexpectedly, and came in today wearing an eyepatch....

It was posted yesterday under "hey Holland' etc.. Holland didn't know what I was talking about and
no one else knew either. Clueless on this board!
Just Watch Barbra Haynes protect Ron St Pierre. Ron is the only person MORE hated then
Depetro at the 'Brine Shrine'. St Pierre has , over the years, backstabbed half the employees
at wpro and formerly at whjj.
Attacking another employee is grounds for dissmissal. Lets see
what happens. I bet Haynes does nothing. Thats her reputation.

And speaking of Salty Brine Beach....FYI to anyone planning on going down to Galilee, George's or Champlin's-The beach lot and bathhouse are completely closed while they construct the new bathhouse (20 years too late by my calculations....used to work as a ranger down there and should have been changed when they were dedicating it to Salty). Wonder if WPRO will have a live shot again for the rededication and have Wally down

St.Pierre then threw something at Depetro and hit him square in the eye.

On behalf of all those collective souls who despise John DePetro, I'm glad Ronzo let him have it! However, here is my prediction and you heard it first here. Ron will get fired by Citadel over this. This is the horrible irony. Ron is a fine guy and a damn good broadcaster. That will not matter. DePetro has already been to the emergency room, Koch Eye Center and I am sure has retained counsel. To my surprise there is no report of a police complaint. He's holding that in his hip pocket for lifetime job security. Score one for the bad guy DePetro, Ronzo will be SOL.
I have long suggested the GM has lost control of this air staff and she realizes it. This dismissal will be a feeble attempt to garner some respect. Too little, too late and a very fine guy will loose his job. The GM must go.

Oh Boy. If Ron turns out to be a loose cannon I will be very surprised. It's hard for me to accept that he actually smashed a guy in the eye on purpose though. In my mind that would be like Leno punching out Letterman. Certain things in life are just to difficult to believe. Holy Cow on this one! Shocking stuff!!! I don't care what kiind of crazy things I've posted on this board during the past 6 years. That kind of behavior would even make me seem sane!

Back in the day, Ron was feeding the fight between Steve White and Sherm Strikhauser. Playing both sides . He sneeked info to the press , when he was at HJJ . Ron last year sent various ratting e mails to a certain Citadel Big Wig, who is now gone. Ron was always causing trouble, when there wasn't any...
Ron doesn't need to do those things anymore , with his job security with Buddy. But, Ron showed his old colors last week.
