Teresa McLemore RIP

It's always sad when someone in our business passes on, even hits a bit closer to home when someone passes on way before their time. Teresa McLemore was only 50, and spent a fair amount of time in our business. She joined the sales department at Z 97 and WSYB in the mid 1990's, did a stint in Keene, worked with Dynacom selling Q106 and WVAY. I think the path took her back with WJJR and Cat Country before Pamal came to town where she was doing on air stuff as well. I give her credit for going into programming, trying to make the original Alice @ 93.7 in Middlebury into something, where she hosted the morning show and was the PD there. The owners of Alice pulled the plug on the format, and it became MP 103. She was a proud and protective single parent to her two daughters, and that is very respectable.

I thought I'd put this out there.. 50 years old is way too young..

Well said Gadon. In all my years of working in radio, she was one that came along and truly showed a passion for the industry. Too young for someone to leave us. My mom passed away at 61, and my brother at 47, last November, and it's never easy to deal with. My thoughts and prayers go out to members of her family, as well as the members of her radio family. RIP Teresa-Mo, you will be missed!

I worked with Teresa when I was the PD at Alice 103.3 and 93.7. She was my morning partner. Those couple years we did mornings together were a blast. She had such an amazing laugh (that I would play over and over and over again). We traveled together to Jamaica where we broadcast our morning show live. That was amazing. Teresa was an amazing broadcaster in every sense, she loved radio, but more importantly she was an amazing person, full of life. Since I found out about her passing on Wednesday morning, I have been listening to airchecks of our show. We had so much fun and you could hear it come through in the broadcasts. She taught me a lot about radio and about life. She will be missed by so many.
