Terri Bennett on Channel 14

This is a test case. If I'm not supposed to be posting about TV here, then will someone please take the appropriate steps.

I had to wait for a long time at Time Warner yesterday (see the Charter merger thread if you are curious) and she was on. I haven't read everything Mark Washburn has written, so I might have overlooked this, but it's all there waiting to be read sometime.

I was hoping you did.

I haven't gone through all the Mark Washburn columns written since it happened. They're here somewhere. Assuming I didn't throw away or recycle any by mistake.

I think she is just a fill in, not permanent. Although I am surprised somewhat that WBTV did not try to hire her back when they replaced their 2 female forecasters back in December, after they left the station. The new blond seems a bit scatterbrained.

Also WCNC did not renew anchor Dave Wagner, and is replacing him with a younger black guy. Sorry to see him go as he had a good knowledge of local political issues and government, and did a good job moderating the Flashpoint show on Sundays. I would rather see Sonja Gantt go, as she is unappealing as an anchor and does not have a good voice or delivery. Although I am sure she is a nice lady, I just think she is in the wrong role. Let her do field reporting or community affairs.

WBTV is the one station of the Big Three she didn't work for, to my knowledge.
