Terri Murray today was named vice president and chief content officer for noncommercial WHYY Philadelphia (DMA 4).
In her new role, Murray will be responsible for all audio and video programming across WHYY’s TV, radio and digital channels.
She joined WHYY in 2017 as vice president for program production. She has led the development of the new television series You Oughta Know, Movers and Makers and Check, Please! Philly while attracting expanded audiences to the station’s blend of programs.
WHYY’s video producers, audio general manager and engineering staff will report to Murray as she oversees all day-to-day content initiatives, both curated and original, across multiple platforms and formats.
