Terrible Programming

Sounds like it was to get some money into the building, but flipping around this morning I came across a bartered program from Still Hopes.

No music whatsoever...just talk about Still Hopes retirement community and texting while driving.

Then at the end of it they said they would air a repeat in that time slot next week.

How do you give up 30 minutes in morning drive on a Friday morning? I guess you work for Double O...

I heard that a couple weeks ago when I had an early (for me) AM meeting. Good salesmanship and hits the center of their demo.

Awful programming. I'll hold my tongue. Don't want to give Uncle Timmy another opportunity to pick up the phone and show his gluteous maximus.

Sounds like UNCLE TIMMY is getting desperate! Maybe thats why his personal facebook has his employeer as CARTER & TODD now and NOT DOUBLE O

They had a good quarter. Good for them. His job is to pump the stations so the owner can dump them on someone else. Looks like he is going to be successful at that goal.

Does it matter? The price is whatever the average spot rate fills up the time and whatever ultimate price they get for the facilities. As much as I like to comment on the programming and strategy (which is fun for me), I realize at this point Tim is under tremendous pressure to get the place ready to be sold and quickly. He seems to be doing that admirably well. It's not about the on-air product at this point. Pilot Group wants to liquidate their investment.

If he is having to try and get two stations up to a certain level to sell in this economy and is actually showing any kind of improvement then good for him. I wouldn't want to have to try and do it.
