Terrible WSCR splatter

Today, I've noticed that WSCR is putting out a lot of splatter on either side of their 670 frequency. This is even beyond the usual HD hash.

I'm here is Lake Geneva, WI (50 miles from WSCR's transmitter) & I'm getting splatter from them as far down as 640 & all the way up to 700. I've seen this even when using a 1KHz filter. I've even heard it down to 636 before the HD hash from WTMJ (620) takes over. I also do hear the splatter on 704.

This is very unusual for them. I thought that (being a 50KW major market powerhouse) their engineers would be on top of this.

I wonder now bad it would be on a radio with poor selectivity.

Yes, I've noticed it here too - the IBOC anomaly is clearly visible on the waterfall display of the SDR. The IBOC sidebands of their signal are completely overlapping adjacent 660 and 680 by about 1 khz, causing these adjacent channels to become totally useless now. My normal way to get around IBOC is using lower or upper-sideband mode, but this of course doesn't work in the case of WSCR since their offending IBOC is completely covering 660 & 680. It seems they have been having technical issues lately, recently they were noted off the air completely on a couple of different occasions, and most recently their IBOC was reported off, now this. Looking at the waterfall display, this horrid IBOC jamming is completely engulfing 655 khz - 661 khz & 679 - 685 khz. Thanks CBS and Ibiquity - real awesome technology you have there.
