The Fan was a major player in "Sports Jam," an event at the AE Stage on Sunday afternoon. Lots of autograph signers from all sports, all free. Great deal for fans, handy for those who attended the Pirates game at PNC.

It was the biggest promotion The Fan has done since it went on the air 14 months ago. Lots of Fan personalities there, conducting Q & A sessions with people like Pens coach Dan Bylsma.

Who wasn't there? Station PD Terry Foxx. Unbelievable that the PD wouldn't be there, if only to troubleshoot. If he thinks an event like this doesn't need his presence, then CBS doesn't need him. He should be fired.
 
He hasn't exactly been winning popularity contests in some circles.

I'm somewhat amazed that this lineup has done as well as it has.... every time I turn them on I expect to hear "New Jersey's 93.7 the Fan".....
 
promoting it as "Pittsburgh's biggest sports day of the year" when the Steelers went to the
Super Bowl in February was a bit over the top.
