Terry Francona on WEEI today

How big a deal is this for a radio station? I know it's a two way street with Tito trying to sell a book, but I have to believe that WEEI wins the ratings battle for that segment today. If he goes on the Sports Hub tomorrow, every one will have heard what he has to say. This has got to be a little prickly for WEEI, being the Sox flagship, but on the other hand there are a lot of people who are not fans of the Sox owners, especially after last year. and the character assasination of Tito after he left. How do they play this?

You didn't mention the author --CHB-- is paid by 98.5. He will talk. I have never known Tito to say anything --ever-- without shading it somehow.
Francona would help sales by being forthright. But he seems to do the opposite so naturally.

I didn't know that. I would have listened .......Gresh notwithstanding. He's supposed to be on at 5:00. They must be PO'd at WEEI.

That was a little disappointing. Of course, I have very little use for Lucchino and was hoping that Tito would crucify him, but it wasn't to be. He's too nice a guy. I'd love to have heard a lot more about Manny also. I have a feeling that with him, every day it was something. I'll tell my kids not to buy me the book.
