I remember him. Wasn't he doing the evenining show on WTN before that Grayson guy came in. I just never cared for Grayson's show since he would spend an entire evening talking about which cartoon was better, The Jetsons or the Flinstones. LOL
Taylor's show was more politically movitaved as I recall.
Terry Taylor was well short of Savageness. I remember well his push for people to learn more about the Constitution, dedicating one night per week to a discussion about the Constitution. It was far more informative than most conservative talk radio.
When he left here, he left the mic for station management, landing somewhere in Indiana or Illinois I think, but I don't remember that for sure.
The station he managed was in Owensboro, KY/Tell City, IN and is owned by The Cromwell Group. Terry "embellished" his management experience as well as his revenue goals. The cluster at the time billed $50-75k a month and Terry promised about ten times that amount. Based on that and the resume too good to be true he was hired. Terry lasted six months before Bud finally realized this wasn't the real thing. The aftermath included a staff exodus (either fed up with his ways or fired on a whim), a lawsuit with a computer store and lots of bills around town as Terry charged everything in his life to the station.
There might have been some positives about Terry Taylor but the compulsive lying, massive mood swings and the substance abuse were what stood out. I should know as I was front row and center for it all. I was just wondering if he was still around or a victim of his own self destruction.
