I enjoy his show, as listened to here
in the Buffalo market (WHTT) and a few
stations in southern ontario, BUT
this made me kinda.....mad

he used his radio medium to endorse
quick loans. (thats fine) the man makin the money,
*BUT* the problem is - he blended it in...
soo nicely with his show it didnt sound
like a read(credit to him)but . . . . some people
that listen for ...(unsolicted)?sp advice may be
mislead on this one.....

just an observation.
he did it soo well, didnt hear any pre/post
announcements claiming advertisement but
as if part of the 'intel' he delivers.

Isn't that what Paul Harvey got in trouble for doing a long time ago? That is why he started adding the page numbers. "Page 3!"

BUT - the waaay he did it was _crap!

Usually - he does the voice over in between
spots, or disclaimer-instead- of making
it sound like a segment. At first, I was
thinking it was (intel/part of the show),
and FIRST IMPRESSION: maybe i should
refiance (re-fi) but I just got my house
(5 years ago) w/ a good rate... then
he said, "re-fi" with Quicken Loans,
(like the kid from A Christmas Story),
"its a freekin commercial"
-but it raised the question:
what part of his show does he give
"intel" as part of his true intention; and
what does he give, as motivated by $$$
-
still a great show, and excellent presentation
but now i wonder - what made him select
a certain author/columinst, etc

Now I wonder what is his motive
for bringing to mention, an author
or Professor (etc)...
and he also quotes
"one study" at a college......

real fact, or (guys)at bars are
pretty much flat out lying they will
say, a variety of phrases that
sound valid, if the listener
accepts it as is - i AM A FAN of tesh
but notice lately, his show is
sounding very,
like the guy at the bar:
"...i think that happened once, . . . "
or "i read it online, or some where that ...."

sucks, IM a fan -
i enjoy his show; and
even have him bookmarked/airchecked,
but the more i tune in, the more he is
losing me...
esp w/ his "one study shows, .. "
or . . the obscure " i know of 1 teacher in
Iowa..." (etc, etc) , sure I tune in (still) but
getting tougher to enjoy and not listen too
closely and critique.

on a positive:
i did notice his non-sense advice had decreased !!!
like the things, u simply CAN NOT do in the office,
(just like the training manuel saaays) but the ACTUAL
situation calls for a diff./"better" response..

like on his show, a few years ago:
of a co worker causing trouble at the workplace.
he gave the right answers, walk away, report him, etc
but in the real situation, u some times "cant" (for a few
reasons), could be the boss's son, or a union, or
smaller companies, the offending employee will simply
report some thing against u ( it may be un true) but
who cares, gotta investigate it - soo easier to just
keep quiet - lol

will give tesh a month or so break and hope i can enjoy him again

does any one know who/how where, he selects his authors?
please tell me that is on creditability(?sp) and not who offers
"incentives" for links to be posted on his website...
