1) C Thanks, now I'll have that jingle stuck in my head all day. (were you there when the 45 was released?)

2) C & D both WWBA-AM and Newsradio 970 WFLA have done this. AM 68 did it in the late 70's, WFLA over a decade later.

The "When Flashing News Is On..was at both..your right..I was thinking of the old WWBA in St. Pete at 680..and the old sign was on the street..Higby told me that he nearly got canned one day because he forgot to turn on the light before a newscast.

and regarding Mike's note regarding the "I Love You Tampa Bay" record..we had 2000 of them pressed by AR mastering in Texas, and Chris Rathaus and Scott Walterman and I went to about 40 bars in the area convinced them to put the record in the various jukeboxes, and went there frequently armed with about five bucks in quarters. The damn record would get punched up about three dozen times and play over and over and over..It was a 3 min jingle for the station basically...

Harvey had double pupils! It got to the point, kids would call in all the time during the show and that is all the subject was. He would start hanging up on them after several calls in a row!
