Testing Tieline Report-In Live for Talk Show

We're testing a Tieline Report-It Live for a talk show. With our current set up - we do the show with our announcer at a remote location taking calls. The calls come in at the studio. Our audio runs through a Comrex Hybrid and then through the board - which allows the caller to hear the announcer at a remote location and allows the announcer to hear the caller. We've done this using a Scoop reporter and it works well. Wondering if this will work with the Tieline Report-it Live. My main concern is that the announcer hears the caller and vice versa as we have done in the past.

If you have the proper cables made up for the iPhone this should work fine, the only thing you may see is a bit more lag then you had with POTS codecs or ISDN/G.722. Also make sure you have plenty of data bandwidth, but you knew that one!
:)

Be sure to follow Tieline's directions with disabling as many interruptions as possible (such as fowarding calls and dealing with text messages). If you can go with a AT&T LTE iPhone (5) you'll find in most cases that it will work much better. Network congestion is a killer with any of these live remote pickup units/ apps. Of course, if you're at a ball game with TONS of people in the stand, you better look for an uncrowded WIFI connection instead of cellular anything.
