Texans and Cowboys games both on FOX

If you ever need a stark example of NFL football loyalties in Texas, just look at the Fox NFL regionalization map for week three: http://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2015&wk=3

Cowboys and Texans both play on Fox at the same time Sunday 9/27. KRIV Houston is the only Texas Fox station carrying the Texans; everyone else has the Cowboys game.

Texans have a lot of work to do to win over Texas football fans.

You ain't kidding, Frog. Once you're out of Houston, you're basically out of luck. I run into this constantly in my regular trips to San Antonio. About Flatonia, 610 will start coming up above the noise in the truck...so it's a mad dash for that Best Western on I-10 in Flatonia, if I'm running behind returning home.

Of course, and it goes without saying, I've been sending a scowling glare in the general direction of Lumberton, Texas for not carrying the neighboring SE Texas team in favor of Jerry's Team on that much ballyhooed and anticipated music station occupying AM 13...

...Shame on you, Mr. Boone! Hahaha.... :-D

Hey, the Cowboys are 100x more popular in the Triangle than the Texans...even in the days of our Beloved Bum Phillips at the Oilers (and I met Bum personally many times), the Pokes were tops in the area.....now if I get another signal, HMMMMMM.... ;)
So YOU are the reason my ears have been burning and my a$$ chafing?? LOL!!!!

I'm not a football fan, maybe that's why I think this way. I think we should support our local teams first then support our close teams second. I support The Texans and I support The Cowboys cause they both represent TEXAS. My opinion!
