Texar Prism Front Panel Nameplates

Does anyone have a pair of them to spare? I'm hoping for a set of the most common variety -- "AUDIO PRISM by TEXAR" -- to help dress up my latest analog airchain hobby/project, but I'd be happy with the other flavors, too. Over the years, so many of these things went missing; they have to be somewhere! I could also use a couple PR-1 phase rotators -- probably harder to find than the nameplates. Thanks.

I used to see those nameplates quite often at various transmitter sites. Most of the time they were not put back on by whoever was adjusting them. Gentner bought out Texar, and then I believe someone bought the remaining parts from Gentner. Maybe someone on here would know who got the parts. I have some odds and ends, M101's etc, IC's, but no phase rotators. I will keep an eye out as I travel around. Most places have long removed them, but there are some still out there in front of 8100's. The Optimod 8000 was the same way. The nameplate / cover was usually missing. ???

I have three Optimod 8000s that I picked up used. Only one has a front cover and one of them is missing the top and bottom sheet metal covers too. All of the Audio Prisms seem to have lost thier front covers. I have a pair of Prism IIs driving an 8000A on an LPFM in the same cosmetic shape. I've often wondered where those front covers go so that I could replace them. Evidently it's the same place those missing socks are hiding..........

Have you got an original factory manual for the Prisms (the white binder with the colourful photo on the front) ?

See my PM.

I do know someone here in the Netherlands that produces just exactly those Prism nameplates...
It seems they all dissolve when they come in contact with something like... let's say oxygen? ;D

Richard, Studio 1 is checking to see if he has some spares. If that doesn't work out, I'd love to get the info on your NL aftermarket source as a backup.
