Well, at the risk of running afoul of the Arbitron police...

There wasn't a whole lot of movement in the Fall 2005 book. Clear Channel still way-dominates the market with Kicker and Power. Ark-la-tex group continues to struggle. KFYX flip from country to CHR hasn't made a dent. BOB-FM (KBYB) is still languishing, though (I've heard) they do well with adults in PM drive.

(Mr. Moderator - there. I didn't mention any numbers. Is that OK?)

too early to tell about KFYX flip but I highly doubt it will make much of a dent in Power. KPGG did pretty well wish they had a stronger signal though.

Kicker is and always will be the best cradle-to-grave station in the market.
Power, Toy, and B look to be dividing up the most active audience with CHR and Urban. Ashdown's pig will go as far as you can throw it (not). The stations trying to garner 25+ (or older) shares are numerous, which means a smaller piece of the pie. Bob bought the formula and then decided they could do it on the cheap. You don't have to be the amazing Kreskin to see what happens next.

Hello to all my old friends on Arkansas Blvd!

Hey Ron.
They tell stories about your days in town.

I'd like to meet you someday.
