No, sorry. Fresh out.

The ratings tell me that things haven't changed much in Texarkana. KICKER has been on top forever and will probably stay there. I do hate to see KMJI still at the bottom. That station has a lot of potential but I guess it's doing exactly what GAP wants it to do... stay out of the way of their other stations in Texarkana. That's why Clear Channel (now GAP) bought it.

I worked in TEXARKANA 9 years ago - some of the best times of my life...only worked there for 15 months - took that really BAD Hope Urban to OLDIES and gave KOOL a run for it's money - big increase the 1st book - BUT, it didn't last long - had to leave the market for personal reasons - and now "TEXARKANA'S REAL OLDIES STATION" is a forgotten memory. TUFF MARKET - it's a "Good Ole Boy" market - if you ain't in - YOU ARE OUT. That was 9 years ago - hopefully things have changed some - I have some good friends there - I wish them the BEST.

Well, I am curious to see how much (if any) of the CHR market goes to KTTY. They recently changed to CHR (with an Urban/Latin lean) from Contemporary Christian. There are enough Christian stations there to make Jesus himself turn off the radio.

KFYX decided to shoot themselves in the face by simulcasting BOB FM for the next 6 months. So that might improve KPWW and KTTY in the next book. I am not surprised that KMJI is so low, that station is boring.

It surprises me that the top two stations eat up over 30% of the market. A Country station and an Urban station. Definitely two cities living as one.
