Whats the chances of this song getting some Decent CHR spins in the U.S, or even HOT AC? Its a pretty good song, and its getting air Play in Europe right now. Im gonna have to check Mediabase soon, and see where it is. Texas has charted in the U.S before.

Great band. Despite the name this duo is from Scotland!
I think one of their first releases was their remake to "I Don't Want To Talk About It" in the late 80s.
In the early 90s Texas got some US airplay with "I Don't Want A Lover".

My personal favorites from them are "Say What You Want", and "Black Eyed Boy"

"Say What You Want" got some airplay in the late 90's as well, and "Inner Smile" was featured prominently in the movie "Bend It Like Beckham".

I don't think Getaway will go for adds here though. If it did, it might be a decent Hot AC hit. Probably wouldn't hit CHR.

It is more Hot ACish by American standards, but European CHR stations have no problem playing this song, even some of the DANCE LEANING CHRs, like Hot fm 93.7 in Belgium are playing this.
