Texas History

Does anyone remember listening in the mid 1990s on the radio, a short two minute program called Tales of Texas History? It was a short radio piece that the narrator would give a short Texas History story about an event in Texas History or about a person (i.e. David Crockett or Sam Houston). I think it was called Tales of Texas History.

I don't know if it's the same program, but Tumbleweed SMith has a show that airs in several markets called The Sounds of Texas. May not be the same show that you are asking about, but the show title is close!

Tumbleweed Smith

It is not Mr. Smith. I recently contacted him about this. The time period of when I heard the Texas history programs were in the early to mid 1990s. It was one Texas radio stations. Thanks for your answer to my question.
