TH Crossroads Communications busted out by Emmis

Quite, funny really. But a lot of money to waste on 15 billboards, especially if they say only " Bite Me" and no station Logo or Frequency. I thought they had to let the air talent go due to Budget Concerns and they spend probably 10 grand for 3 weeks of billboards??? I guess there is no thing as bad publicity, but I think this is something that could really piss off advertisers who's business is next to one of these billboards.

The link to Channel 10's story didn't work. I'd like to see what they say about it.
Otherwise, this is first I've heard. What's the scoop?

They basically said "We think Crossroads communications is to blame for this abombination, but they said they wouldn't comment until November 1st, the date they are believed to be launching a new radio station in Terre Haute. Stay tuned to WTHI Action 10 News for the best coverage of this story."

They're Billboards...Who Cares. Is this really a story? I would say that if this is the best thing WTHI TV can come up with to do a story about, then there is one more reason I don't watch them. Not Clear...Not Accurate and NO Where Near to the point.
