Thad TV

I'm not a radio guy so this sounds almost worth wasting the money to have a little fun!)

"Little" being the operative word there.

Mr T... how much did those Sunday morning gospel groups pay to have their on-the-air "fun" back at WRBC? Was it 15 bucks for a half-hour?

Gracious no, $15.70 (in cash) for 15 minutes!

$13.34 net would have figured in the 15% agency discount. At $15.70 for a quarter-hour... that's more than a dollar-per-minute of holler retail!

Well, hell, I was the one doing the collecting. I figured a $2.10 commission for me sounded about right.

Yep..back in the day, the probably hollered more than once a minute. I suppose if you could have actually charged "A Dollar A Holler" the price would have been more than $15.00 for 15 minutes.
The ones I ran on Sunday mornings back then hollered more than once per minute for sure!
