Thank God for WPRO

I am so glad WPRO has'nt yet sold out to syndication programming. I found it amusing this morning when John Depetro came right out and asked Charlene Lema D-Cranston why she was so persistant in destroying the state.
This in conjunction with the Circus show the state General assembly performed last Friday night and the budget.
I can see the WALE people paceing the halls on North Main street the past few days.

Kenwood,

It sounds like your radio experience is limited to your father letting you change the stations when your family drove to the beach!

What is that supposed to mean? Are you talking about my spelling? If so,some of the most intelligent people screw up with spelling.

Remember "Match Game".

No, actually it had to do with your obviouslly stunning lack of experience in real radio or it's management. This board seems to be full of both 'wannabe's' and disappointed 'almost weres'. I can't decide which you are....then again, it doesn't matter. Please tell us what your accomplishments have been in radio, that we would impress us. Then your opinion may be taken more seriously.

If resumes are going to be posted here then you should be the first. You might be surprised at how yours stacks up against others.Looking at your prior posts most of what you talk about is negative so were you burned by WHJJ or WPRO or both?

There's still a lot to be said for LOCAL RADIO! Especially if the talent is good! ;)

The problem has always been the price that local advertisers are willing to pay in order to keep the syndicators away! Many don't want to commit to an advertising contract or support local programming that hasn't been successfully in place.

Radio Group owners don't care one way or the other...because they can either take the advertising dollars that come in...or write the station off as a loss! ::)

Nope, niether....but nice guess. My posts have only been about all of the negative comments on these boards. Please people....GET A LIFE!

WPRO is a great LOCAL station. Although I wish they'd drop Rush and replace him with Glenn Beck. Obviously that won't happen, but I'm just saying what I'd like personally.

Re: Glen Beck on WHJJ,hoping for an Imus return and WTKK a mess in mornings

Glen Beck is now on WHJJ 9-12 noon. They picked him up after the Imus dibacle.if Imus does return and I believe WHJJ will pick him up again I hope they drop the current morning show it's not good morning radio.
The way things are going in Boston it seems WTKK is banking on an Imus return. They dont seem to know what direction to go.Thier mornings are a mess.(no offense to hosts who have been filling in).
