For not forcing another reality show down the throats of the viewing audience.

The network decided to drop its debut of “Welcome to the Neighborhood”. The concept of this program was having people from different backgrounds move into a neighborhood and let viewers see how they did, or didn’t get along.

Reality programs are to TV as what automated voice-tracking formats is to radio; playing to the lowest common dominator.

ABC has also been coming out with creative shows such as "Lost", "Empire", or "Night Stalker". Creative programming. Better than the Fox reality crap.
______________

HEY? I happend to enjoy the spoof on the Aprentice that FOX did...what ever that show was called?...I also believe the time slot was the problem leading to it's cancellation.

As for the Reality programming...TV better smarten up...the reality channel has a pulse...all reality...ALL the time!
______________

ABC didn't do us any favors. They pulled the show because Black people and other groups were gonna boycott the network.

The premise of the show was a house the producers bought in a Lily White town in Texas (I think it was Texas), and the neighbors had to deal with a process of elimination vote on who there new neighbors are gonna be:

1) Black Family

2) Gay couple with an adopted black child

3) A large Mexican Family

4) A stripper

5) Some Chinese people

I don't know what they were thinking? The show sounds real terrible and promoted stereotypes. So they pulled it because at the last minute they got nervous. Don't worry, more reality garbage coming soon, just not the racist kind.

ABC has no balls, they should have shown it, then braced for the sh%t storm.

The show even on paper blew big chunks! It would even make conservative stereotypes go WAY BEYOND over the top--and for a conservative like myself it would've meant a boycott of all things ABC Television--EVEN ESPN!

And in terms of the Fox Reality Channel on DIRECTV--The Apocalypse has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As far as my digital cable--Boomerang should go on and NOT Fox Reality--I saw the ad on Fox News Channel--HATED IT!

The premise of the show violated the Fair Housing Act, was the excuse/story I read.

Say NO to reality TV!!! The only way to get this crap off the air is not to watch it.

What else would you expect from Rupert, not putting his latest channel on?

And the sad thing is the Fox Reality Channel is more realistic than the Fox News Channel.

As for Boomerang, it is superb and watchable TV!
______________
