I used to really like WPLM...but now they are NOT special anymore. I can get the music they're playing all over the dial...PLEASE go back to the great unique songs that we could only get by listening to you.

That's a fair point. Just like WFNX now plays songs I can hear on Magic 106.7. The stations alienate their core audience to gain outside listeners.

However rocks fan aren't going to abandon stations like WBOS to suffer through Barbara Streisand to hear the one Peter Gabriel song on WPLM. Likewise, adult contemporary fans aren't going to abandon Mix 98.5 to hear Peter Garbriel on WFNX when they can hear it on Mix 98.5 without sitting through the Cold War Kids.
