Thanks, crisisbroadcast, & A Demographics Tale

A month ago I asked for suggestions to send internet radio through the house. After weighing the suggestions I went with the CC Crane transmitter that crisisbroadcast suggested. It works great, once you learn to tweak the sound level. I tune it to 88.9 (being about 30-some miles from Sellersville and WBYO) and get clear sound in almost every room, especially our main stereo and bedroom bookshelf unit, which are on the first floor, the computer on the second. Thanks again to all who gave their ideas, see, we can talk about more than what is too much Christmas music, is rock radio dying, are there too many urban stations, and why won't advertisers respect the 50+ crowd.

That reminds me, the other day I got a call for a radio-tv survery, so my wife gave me the phone knowing I'd be interested. The first question he asked me was the year I was born. When I said 1952, the caller asked "is there anyone younger in the house", when I said no, he said "that's all the questions for today!" Wow, I thought the cutoff age was 55, but I didn't make the cut two years younger! Gotta go now, the 8-track player is skipping!

Go to phillytalkradio.com, and look for any post by Scott Tilde. Send him an e-mail and tell him you want to modify the antenna to increase the range. He'll tell you exactly what to do.

Sorry Surf. I'm so used to going to the main page and using the links, that I don't think in terms of those shortcut's. It's bookmarked that way, so I guess I'm just being lazy. Go figyah. The CC transmitter is outstanding! Great audio quality, and it can be driven pretty high before it starts to distort.
