Thanks for help Atlantic Broadcasting

"Wild" is here and already the newness is gone. What a weak launch. Hey guys while your building your club house dont forget the most important part, the listeners. Its my job to listen so I do. Just wanted to hear and that new advertising hit and not to my surprise the same old JSE commercials that are running for free. Where are those money bags? Youve had a month to sell the format and not one new dollar on the station. Actually I know a few advertisers yet to hear about the flip but when they realize what happened theyll be on this side of the street. Just another lie told by JVC Broadcasting on how this format would bring in money? The new management should wear masks when they collect that paycheck. They are robbing someone. Businesses are built to make money right? Not sure how much longer this will go on. Summer money is half of last year and they havent hit a goal since Feb. Props to whoever is planning the Save JSE rally but it wont work. These guys are to dumb. Anyone figure out what Ben does yet ??? Ill just sit here make my calls and scoop up all the people you let down.

Thats just "What I Heard"

Or better yet, why not scoop up the JSE listeners to go to 100.7, and modernize ZXL to JSE's level. Sounds much easier and less stress, no? ::)

ZXLs the number 1 rock station in the market before and after the Atlantic Broadcasting collapse. I couldnt be happier this is happening !!!

So if ZXL is the number 1 rock station, why not support them or fight for a new rock alternative station instead of resurrecting a brand that was taken to the back and shot multiple times?  Digital, The Ace, and then Jse Rocks?  This was bound to happen with all those tweaks.  Oh, and why not let them know the REAL story that started this mess instead of bashing this on the dance genre?  Why was Brett fired?  Why was the arbitron diaries re-issued?   :-X  And no, I don't want to hear anymore comments about Brett and his hot dog stand

These have both been discussed multiple times.
1. Brett and his partners were fired for many reasons, not the least of which was losing money.
2. Two arbitron diaries, as per arbitron, were found to have been filled out by media affiliated homes, meaning at the very least those people knew people involved with Atlantic. There is evidence to support allegations that Brett and/or some of his partners knew about it, at the very least. This could also be one of the reasons he (they) were fired.

A Zen master Buddhist Monk visiting Atlantic City goes up to a hot dog vendor named Brett and says, "Make me one with everything."

Brett fixes a hot dog and hands it to the Zen master, who pays with a $20 bill.

Brett puts the bill in the cash box and closes it. "Excuse me, but where’s my change?" asks the Zen master.

Brett responds, "Change must come from within."

o Why was Brett fired?

Does this little ode give you an inkling of why Atlantic was brought to the brink of collapse. In essence no matter how the NEW 102.7 does, residuals of crooked business practices will continue to permeate the stigmatization of the bottom line of that company. This will undoubtedly be something Equity & Millennium will capitalize on when approaching the common ad market. This type of stigma isn't necessarily something you can shake off by calling your self The NEW.

Of course the ads right now are the same as before. They just flipped. A lot of stations when they flip go commercial free. They changed their demos and now have to find advertisers that want that demo. They will come on board soon. Hell the airstaff isnt even on the air yet. Its only been a week.
