THANKS GREG MONTI, DAVE HABER, MIKE NEFF & JON WOLFERT

I would like to thank GREG MONTI for his help in getting me interested in airchecks. Greg use to work at Long Island's 1240 WGBB. Back in the '70s he sent me a few free airchecks, a DAVE HABER Jingle Sampler and a MIKE NEFF Jingle Sampler (Mike was at 810 WGY at the time).

I just played that stuff over and over. Enjoyed the aircheck of B-100 (SAN DIEGO) WILLIE B. GOODE. B-100 sounded so cool.

Mike Neff produced some funny samplers. Great quality stuff.

I found out about JAM CREATIVE PRODUCTIONS. Mr. Wolfert was so kind to send me many free demos. Thanks!

Holy Moly Batman...!! It was Greg and Dave that got me into airchecks also, and Greg and I are still close friends! Greg now works for ABC Radio Networks in NYC, and Dave moved to California about 20 years ago and hasn't looked back. We still email each other occasionally. I still have Dave's jingle composite that ends with 99X and The Bay City Rollers "Saturday Night".<P ID="signature">______________

Matt,

Did you ever hear them jingle samplers from Mike Neff?

Two different types of jingle samplers. Dave would use airchecks and Mike would use jingle demos/or masters.

I enjoyed both styles. I would blast those suckers over & over on my great JVC boombox.
