Because of you I've learned a lot about Texas and Texans. Now I love the land my ancestors settled.
Furthermore, as you know, your show started here in Spain one hour before the midnigth and Maria, my wife, used to say we were going three to bed: She, me, and Jon-David Wells!!!
I'm pretty sure that the reason of your withdraw of KLIF is your honesty so you'll find a better station where tell the truth to the people of the Metroplex (plus this European in Madrid).
It's a matter of time, not much time.

Ok, so I had to register to this site after a week of hearing, "This is dumb^$$ sitting in" but not followed by, "Jon David Wells" just, "sitting in"
This disturbed me, because I knew that you were gone. No sponsors. No name dropping. No JD. So, I googled it. Here I am, and here you are! Quite amazing really.
Sitting in traffic is something of a sport here in Dallas, we're good at it, and we're good at getting good damn and mad about it too. You provided relief for me more than you could possibly know. I have sat in this traffic for 12 years now, and all I heard were the sounds of my fingers breaking against my steering wheel, and the sound of my heart beating through the veins in my forehead. Until you. Although, I will not lie, sometimes you were the reason for me getting mad in the first place! LoL.
You will be missed GREATLY here in DFW by many. You should leave with the knowledge that you did more for this community than most of us who are native to it. Even if you made fun of the way summav us tawlk, I think you're a good guy.
I am deeply saddened that you are gone, neigh, pissed, and KLIF has been running an ad for new Technical Director, and I have sent my application in. I knew if I sent a letter about you in the title it wouldn't work, they wouldn't read it. No sir, I have sent an authentic resume with NO intention of getting a job. A brief example; "Why do you think you are the one for this position?" Because I know I can run this place better than you numb skulls, your new direction had better be away from DFW. BRING BACK JD! I learned this from you, sorta. At least the be active part of doing it. I'm still young so I wont lie, I was very much a smart......guy, but I feel better. I know you won't get your job back, but someone will read it, and then probably laugh, but my voice will be heard.
Sorry man, I could go on and on, but this sucks. I hate traffic. I'm moving to the country. Lot's of us will miss you JD. Take care in your new experiences.

What a shame. I live near FT Hood, and would listen everyday on my way home from training our Soldiers. How does a station that claims to be active let the bigest activist he have go? I hope where ever you land I can pick it up here in central TX. I miss it when you would overwhelm as phone center or website and crash it. I am tryng to follow your lead and crash the Westboro Church website but I'm not having the effect nor recieving much help from radioactive KLIF. The people who would demonstrate at the funeral of a fallen hero
are disgusting and need a dose of JD.... Those boots you borrowed for the balloon boy family should go to KS and kick some Baptist butt....

I moved to Dallas just 2 years ago and have loved your show since the day I found it. In fact I cancelled my XM subscription because I wasn't using it on my commute home. I got XM because I was in Atlanta just prior to Dallas and have already had the pain of listening to Chris Krok and found XM to be a better choice.
Looks like I'll be subscribing again.

I don't understand this move by KLIF at all. I'm listening now, and the new guy is okay, I guess, but he seems to like acting silly. Hard to believe this is the "new direction" the station wanted; somebody who yells a lot and makes noise.
You know, if this is an indicator of what KLIF thinks us listeners need, I'm wondering if we should be insulted.
Anyway, hope you had a good holiday. Miss your show. I'm gonna flip over to 660.

It's horrible to hear this news :'(. I wish I could have shook your hand one more time JD. Whether it's at Border's, Star Power or wherever. I'll miss watching you on justin.tv. I'll especially miss the Flame-out Friday. KLIF has had too many changes lately. Darrell Ankarlo, Greg Knapp and now Jon-David Wells. If Jeff Bolton leaves, I'm dropping KLIF from my favorites. Didn't agree with you a lot, except with your views on Rielle Hunter. Nevertheless, liked your show because there was discussion and ideas being thrown around. Liked you didn't feel the need to scream and shock people.

I've given the new guy on the drive home a chance and listened to him all week, but can't stand all the screaming and disrespect for his listeners. Can't understand him half the time when he starts yelling through his bull horn, so it looks like Jeff Bolton is the only sane one I'll be listening to.
