Here I am a 37 year old male and watching The Breakfast club lastnight and lord and behold an ad with a bunch of really old people talking about someone dying and selling life insurance.

I'll admit I am from the MTV generation and the movie came out in 1985. Idid'nt think I was that old.

I really hope this ad was supposed to run during the Beaver or I love Lucy and this was a freebee because I hope my life is'nt over yet.

If this ad is'nt being played to the wrong audience, I don't know what is.

You're absolutely right! The Breakfast Club has no business being on TV Land. ;)

It should be on another Viacom property. TV Land is for CLASSIC TV and not for movies. Especially movies that are not really that old. This channel has truly lost its way.
 
When is Viacom planning on making a TV Land Digital channel like their others like MTV Hits, Nick Toons, BET Jazz, etc. Viacom needs to do this. Only some of the Viacom channels are still the same like they were. Nick, CMT, BET. Thats all I would say. Nick as they still show cartoons, Nick Jr. some teen shows which have gotten popular as Disney has the same type of teen shows. CMT they still show a great amount of country music videos, when I flip around I see country music videos on CMT. And yes they have some shows but those are country type shows like Trick My Truck, etc. And lastly BET their Black Entertainment TV. They weren't meant to show hip hop music videos all day. But they are still programed how they are surpose to.
