Thanksgiving Parade totally scripted

OK, perhaps not totally, but watching NBC today it seemed it was for the most part. I miss the days when parade commentators worked without much of a script. But we are in a different media world. Is it better? I think not.

Kinda going off-topic, you can say the same thing with pro wrestling with promos and interviews. Now those are heavily scripted to death, where as before, they were generally done off cuff. I do agree that being in a different media world makes a big difference.

That's the WWE. They don't want their "superstars" pulling a shoot on live television.
