The FOX....WTF happened with Bob and Tom!!! Thursday off the air for seemed like forever. Friday morning....Uhhhhh..Is anyone home? How hard is it to program in the automation?

Super Suck 96.5 - First 20 minutes of Glenn Beck on Thursday...was.....drum roll....
Sporting News Radio, then a flip to Glenn Beck.

let's see....millions of dollars worth of computers = terrible radio (esp. on holidays!!!)

$5 board op = halfway decent radio (at least they wouldn't be off the air for minutes on end)

Bye!

Well, Cumulus had someone there at least! Of course, WRRM is a local primary and is probably attended 24/7. That person was probably also babysitting the other stations in the cluster. There are a lot of stations that had no one working at all yesterday. It sounds like they might not have an automatic switch for 96.5's satellite guides yet, though. I worked at a station, ironically now owned by Cumulus, that installed a switch. We only had a case of the wrong programming going out once in two years, and that turned out to be a Starguide issue, not a switch problem.

I, personally hope Bob and Tom went the way of the Thanksgiving turkey, and I don't mean the one that the President pardoned.
