That Supposed KDWN 720 Nevada Test ?

OK.

I tried listening for a bit last night, but all I heard was KFIR. There did seem to be something very faint in the null that could've been WGN, but it was too faint to resolve, so I'm not sure. Even though I've been playing with radios for almost as long as I can remember, there's a lot I don't know.

I'll keep trying!

The CM prefix was used by Cuba for broadcasters in the pre-Fidel era. They hung on for years in station listings (maybe they were still official), but I don't remember them being used on-air, even in the 1960s.
But even their own government listings show call letters, but they are not used on the air as is normal in the majority of nations worldwide.

Well, so far, they have not replied to either my Facebook message or direct email.

It's possible they are fully aware that they are transmitting on day power (10Kw), and just do not (or will not) power down.

Each night I have checked the band on 720 to see if they done anything, and when I hear them loud and clear, I think crud, are they thumbing there noses at all of us.

With all that said, I will give them a shred of respect that they will either reply, or just surprise all of us and power down to required 183 watts (What they agreed upon when they signed there FCC license)
