That was some great Television on WPRI Last Night.

They held a Live Casino Debate on WPRI. It was an excellent broadcast. Very professionally produced. Definitely a Hot Topic around here lately. But the excellent presentation made it even more enjoyable to watch. I don't know where the Broadcast originated from, but it looked just like the Ed Sullivan theatre where Letterman broadcasts from. Obviously it wasn't. However if Dave ever comes to town they could easily broadcast his show from wherever this Debate took place last night. Same goes for Wheel Of Fortune or Jeopardy. They should come to town and do some shows from this place. It looked to be a perfect Broadcast facility. Who can tell me where they were?

Anyway..... Good job to all involved in that broadcast last night. It was a very lively debate which I really enjoyed.

John: thanks for your kind words. I will pass along your comments to my superiors. The Casino Debate (along with the Chafee/Whitehouse Senate Debate) took place at Toll Gate High School in Warwick. The Casino Debate was on aired live Wednesday and replayed on Saturday. The Senate Debate was carried live on Thursday evening. Thanks again for your comments.

Wonder if Dave could play the Bushnell Theater in Hartford? It's hosted Presidential and Vice Presidential Debates before and just hosted a hotly contested US Senate debate between Joe Lieberman and Ned Lamont. It was aired by WFSB-TV/DT (CBS) channel 3/D 33 of Hartford and it was moderated by Bob Schieffer.
