Seriously....what's with radio down here. Everything is bad. It's horrible. I'm going to wait until Christmas and then see if anything happens. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :-\ :'(

There's good radio in Mobile. You're just not branching out enough.
 
It doesnt get any better in Montgoemry...trust me :-[...thank god for the Internet...I can't wait until broadband in cars is a reality....
 
What Alabama market has better radio than Mobile?

Montgomery? Nope
Dothan? No
Birmingham? Probably not.
Huntsville? Don't know, never been there.
Muscle Shoals? Maybe.
Auburn? Yeah, they do, but I doubt many people would agree with me.
 
I wish a lot of them stations in Mobile had RDS like Montgomery. Montgomery Radio is good, even though they have NO HD station's. Q100 is the only station that does. Lite Mix had it a couple times, but they keep taking it off. Does the station control if there station carries RDS or not?
 
hahahaha.....whatever. live in cullman. can pick up birmingham huntsville florence/muscle shoales, gadsden, etc. WORK in radio in florence. my radio is on 92Zew all the time....thank goodness for the internet. Spent 3 years in Mobile in college and that sold me on the zew.

Mobile does have good radio thank you very much. It just boils down to what you like or don't like. I prefer the zew over most of its counterpart aolradio/xm/sirius channels. I love the mix of real, new, live, even LOCAL....and what not.
 
There's no need of getting so upset over radio. Perhaps your taste in music isn't marketable anymore, much like my taste is now. I used to listen to alternative rock a lot in the late 90s/early 00s with the old X station. But now I'm lucky if Rocket actually plays something that isn't classic, emo-punk, or Nickelback. I don't get upset about it, I stop listening and move on.

do you care to elaborate on your comments? you say mobile radio sucks and its terrible but you fail to say what specifically sucks or is terrible.

Read, spring for satellite radio, or get good at moving tracks on your MP3 player. It beats complaining about 'BLX playing the 'Soulja Boy' remix for the fortieth time or WABB adding another Nickelback clone.
