"That's Life" -- Rock and Roll?

Jeff Rollins of Dial Global claimed this morning Frank Sinatra didn't like rock and roll (which I believe) until he recorded this song. I'm sorry, what? That's not rock and roll. Somewhere else I heard "Mack the Knife" was the only rock and roll song Sinatra ever liked. Neither of these is rock and roll! :D ???
 
On the subject of Jeff Rollins, he said this morning he doesn't know how all this stuff works. He just knows how to say, "Hey, dude, that was Tony Bennett and The Commodores".
