As I said before (and which Barsook will probably go bonkers over because I'm going to say it again), I know I am not Scott, Keys, Tilde, or Radio Real Estate. The Moderator knows I am not Scott, Keys, Tilde, or Radio Real Estate. Scott, Keys, Tilde, and Radio Real Estate know I am not Scott, Keys, Tilde, or Radio Real Estate.

For the record, "Scott Tilde" has multiple identities, which he uses simultaneously. "Dave Clarity," "Julius Caesar Salad" and "Radio Scrutiny" are among the two best known. He does have a fondness for user names with nouns identifying states of being.
In each identity, he makes references to different biographical information: Different places he lives. Age. Marital status. Occupation (In radio - not in radio. A stone mason. A bus boy working in a restaurant where radio people hang out). He provides differing opinions, sometimes disagreeing with himself - sometimes agreeing.
Still his pattern is consistent. He is right. Other people are attacked for disagreeing with THE TRUTH. He keeps posting until he gets the last word.
He now has his own board which operates like a Bush public appearance; only supporters allowed.
Three local radio boards on which he has done this have gone out of business. His own board isn't getting much traffic these days, and most of that traffic is related to an Internet radio show one of his friends does (his board hosts the show blog).
The posting pattern remains consistent here.
With a few exceptions, everybody uses handles here. Another board requires real names but that's not the direction this site has chosen. Lance used to ban people from this board frequently - often for arbitrary or capricious reasons (in all fairness, he has not been doing this on his new board). Many people, myself included, registered under new names to continue to participate. The difference is, we did not do it out of some childish urge to fool people, create mischief or stir up sh*t.

And I answered you. I have, from time to time, offered alternative reasons as to why it is what it is. I have, from time to time, offered additional reasonings behind my position. I have attempted to bring different perspectives to the issue. You, on the other hand, just keep repeating the mantra "I don't wanna hear it no more", even when the "it" in question is quite different from what arguments I might have used earlier to reinforce my assertions.

So, I'll re-phrase my question, just as a good talk show host would when dealing with a recalcitrant caller. When are you going to offer some variation or reasoning behind your antipathy for that particular issue? When are you going to explain why you have such a pathological aversion to that topic? Is there some deeper motivation behind your over-reaction?

If you were a talk show host yourself, how would you react if callers to your show were to want to discuss that issue?

You honestly have no idea who I am and don't realize how wrong you are. But your mindset apparently does not allow for you to be wrong. I have never used any other handle than keys2.....unlike you apparently, which must explain why you are so suspicious of others.

Only because you were embarrassed. You continue to demonstrate like many liberals that when you are cornered and can no longer deal with the facts logically, you call names, say your opponent doesn't know what they’re talking about, attempt to divert the topic, and then finally say this is stupid.

Maybe you need to spend a little less time on this board. And rather than wait for your nanny government to take care of you and everyone else, try volunteering in your community or perform some mission work in a third world country…..as do those religious right-wingers that you think have such bad intentions. Have you ever done that, Fred? Trust me. It is something that puts life and politics into perspective.

What are you describing sounds more like the behavior of those on this board who attack liberals, liberal viewpoints, liberal hosts and liberal networks (commercial and non-commercial) and describe themselves as "conservatives."

I thought volunteering and "community service" was something liberals do. "Conservatives" are more likely to proselytize in one form or another.

Some recent posts, including this one, sound almost Orwellian: Black is white. War is peace. Feedom is slavery.

And just because I call "Conservatives" on stuff, does not mean I am a liberal. But I realize many people on this board have a simplistic, one-dimensional, bi-polar view of politics - acquired largely from talk radio. My views on volunteering are very similar to Ayn Rand's.
