Although I would hate to see the demise of Sunny, no more Christmas music, if they went FULL BLOWN ACTIVE ROCK 24/7/365, with little talk, emphasis on music, from old Metal to new Rock, they would crack the top FIVE. No-one is doing this format, the right way. YSP is a disappointment and MMR does not know how to really rock. So IMHO, if 104.5 were to flip to Active, it would be to their benefit and the rockers would have something to listen to, everybody wins.

I would also hate to see the demise of Sunny. But, I have to agree that an active rock format could do very well on 104.5. But, as many people on this board have said, an active rocker would be more expensive to operate than Sunny. I'm from the Reading, PA area, and I cannot receive a clear active rocker. I get interference from 94.1 WQKX/Sunbury against YSP (but of course, YSP is now mostly talk), 93.3 WMMR isn't really considered an active rocker, and 105.7 WQXA/York, PA does not come in clearly. An active rocker on 104.5 would fill a nice void in this area. And, if 104.5 would flip, I can still receive soft AC Mix 106.7 WMHX from Hershey.
