The 1510 WMEX Train Wreck continues to roll along.

I didn't think it was possible but they are getting worse.

While out in the car last Thursday I tuned in around Noon to hear how they were covery the events in San Bernidino. 1510 was replaying Wednesday nights Michael Savage show, Savage Nation. Instead of fresh details of Wednesday's massacre 1510 listeners were getting updates from a a show that originally aired 14 hours earlier.

Brilliant programming.

The following day The duo of Pica and Berner , a.k.a. Dumb and Dumber, we're doing a "Special Noon to 3pm Edition" of Renegade Radio. They kept calling the suspicious package left on Atlantic Avenue earlier that day a bomb. If they bothered to listen to the Boston Herald Radio's Morning Meeting, which airs on their station daily 10:00 a.m. - noon, they would have known that the package was not a bomb and the crisis/situation was in fact over with the exception of heavy traffic delays in the area..

How this station remains in business is a mystery on par with how Dr. Ben Carson remains in contention for the Republican Presidential Nomination.

I have heard a few new spots, A boutique store in Wellesley Michele McPhee shops at and a Worcester area candy store. Other than that they continue to run the same trade deal spots that have been on for the past two years. I doubt the block programming they sell even covers their fixed operating costs.

I would like to see 1510 bring back its old top 40 format for the young millenials who are growing up and making a name for themselves. These new young people would love having a rock and roll station of their own.

On AM? Really?
