The '60's Satellite Survey

I really enjoy this show. I heard Lou Simon feature the year 1963 and they were all really great songs. Lou does a great job with tid bits about the songs. Rock on Lou!

I like listening too when I get a chance. Great songs, especially the ones that were not big top 40 hits. Also, aside from Cousin Brucies shows, it's the only time you could hear early 60's songs on that channel.

For the early '60's try '50's on 5. They say it covers the first decade of Rock & Roll so that would be what, 1954 to 1964?

I agree. The show is excellent and so is Lou Simon. Anybody know what he did before he came to Sirius/XM? He really seems to have a great knowledge of the music.

I'm fairly certain that this is the same Lou Simon who was music director and on air at Big WAYS 610 here in Charlotte. I briefly met him a couple of times at some media events since I was working for another station at the time. This was during the '80's so I don't know what he's been doing since then.
