The 80's and 90's channel

Hello folks. I was wondering why the 80's and 90's channels sounds much better at knight. I am talking from around 10:pM to about 3:00 AM. It seems like they are much less repetitive. It also appears that they play more things around that time slot that you haven't heard in a long as oppose to during the day. Am I the only noticing this? If my assumption is true, then why is it true?

I don't know much as far as the 80's, but I believe the 90's has a show called the Underground. It features cult hits and artist of the 90's. It goes on from 1-4 PST.
