Northshore broadcasting has flipped Gospel Praise 94.9 to Gumbo 94.9 playing classic country from the 50s thru the 90s.
 
What surprised me is they are pulling out of the New Orleans market and actually aiming the station for the Houma/Thibodaux market. Their sales offices will be located in Houma
 
i live in Los angeles, and i like the new format of classic country, i know some people here dont like country at all, but i enjoy it, and wish them much success with it.
 
I love the variety on this station!!! I liked the Gospel station before, but this is what I grew up with and I LOVE IT!!! Thank you! ;D
 
They need to fix some issues. Songs have hiss. Overmodulated. And some sound like old scratched overplayed to the point of not being playable old 45s!
