The All New Hot 106 ?

No Breakfus Club...Now K.C. in The Moanin . Hot 106 is now saying " The All New Hot 106 ".
 
And the whitening of Hot 106 continues so the sales staff is more comfortable with it.I wouldn't mind if the format went south but CHANGE IT don't teak it.They still won't know how to handle it.
 
How about a better SIGNAL so they can be heard in ALL of Providence and Johnston? I remember a few years back when it was KIX, they used to say "Beaming down from the Hospital Trust Tower" If they had a tower on the Hospital Trust Tower, why get rid of it. That's exactly what they needed to be heard clearly in the metro Providence area. They certainly don't have it now, because the signal is bad in the east end of Johnston and the west end of Providence, and that's on a good car radio.

And you actually believed it? Kix has historically bragged about being the biggest, baddest and best but actually having none of it. I've got a tape from 1994 where their top-of-the-hour starts off with the words "50,000 watts of power"; it was more like 1200.

With That Jerk, Frank Up north..I think HOT 106 POWER, IS less than 1200 watts .
 
Why did they get rid of The Breakfast Club? I know that morning show is also on Z 93.3 in Charleston, SC. So why did Hot 106 drop it?

Maybe Providence was not feeling it..But I love The Breakfus Club ( Didnt like there names, Tessa and Baby J , Yuck...But the show was cool ) .
 
Could it be argued that The Breakfast Club was marginally a better Stern replacement than, say, David Lee Roth? (Although I do believe Hot dropped Stern before he left terradio...)

Yes... after cutting off Stern at 10:00am for a short time, the station picked up "Da Club" in March 2005.
