The all new Movin 93.9

Has anyone noticed that this station is actually starting to sound pretty good, it seems that it is focused and not dysfunctional...thoughts anyone?.....As bad as this sounds I think the station should find another morning team, I think that Rick Dees would sound better at PM drive......

No, no one has noticed because no one is listening. It's just that without any competition now they only appear to sound better.
Honestly, they could pick up some numbers from former KBIG listeners, but that doesn't mean their sound has improved, and it hasn't.

Dees will NEVER do PM drive. He'll feel that it's beneath him, but we know he would prefer tracking his show and sleep late.

I gotta say....you can't spend $5m in advertising to launch a product that's flawed and then re-launch a year later and expect to get a second chance at an audience. Anyone who listened during Movin' v1.0 has already made up his/her mind and knows whether it's a station he/she wants to listen to...no matter how different it might sound today.

Why do they edit the intros of so many classics they are playing? Sounds terrible. Why to they read liner cards saying "70's 80's Mix" over recurrents?

My money is on My 104-3 for 25-54 Women, Movin should branch out off Rhythmic....
If we remember, 102-7 Kiss fm at one time said Move To It, then you could of hear a Rock hit.
So maybe the audience has other expectations to the word Movin.

Movin has been trying to superserve Hispanic females. My is not. A significant change in the wrong music direction could alienate what little audience they have. They need to make some tough decisions.
