THE ANIMALS HAVE IT!

Three Cool Cats - The Coasters

Hambone - Carl Perkins

Monkey Around - Delbert McClinton

Mule Skinner Blues - Bill Monroe/Jimmie Rogers/Roy Acuff/Fendermen (Credit where due: songwriting by J. Rogers)

One Less Pony - Sawyer Brown

Mockingbird Hill - Gene Pitney

Mule Train - Frankie Laine, Tennessee Ernie Ford; Gene Autry; Sourdough Slim; Vaughn Monroe.

The Birds And The Bees - Jewel Akens

Cat Scratch Fever - Ted Nugent

The Whale - Electric Light Orchestra

Speaking which, it is important to be in touch with nature, because when animals do strange things (beyond the entertaining strange things that they do as pets at home), something is going on. Dolphins swimming into a New Jersey River, animals vanishing into hiding before the onset of a cataclysmic storm event, the whale that was agitated prior to its trainer getting into the tank with it.

The best part about the whole thing is that the government can't regulate the behaviour of nature, except to tinker and tamper with it - but nature tells all.

The animals have it!

Beer For My Horses - Toby Keith and Willie Nelson
