The Bear 92.5 Fm and Uncle Rich

I have not heard Uncle Rich's voice on 92.5 The Bear in Griffin this week. It would be a mistake let great local talent leave.

For one jhead..the bear is not in Griffin. And for two, ask Rich, not board! I say this with all due respect, the board is a great place to communicate info, but your track record always shows to be WRONG and NEGATIVE...But, it is good to know you are a loyal listener to The Bear, so for that Thank You.....

So where IS Uncle Rich?
While listening yesterday someone else was mentioned during afternoons - no mention of Richard. The Bear's website is down this morning too.
I hope the budget ax has not visted......Richard is good people.

Tom, I am with you...I hope the budget axe has fallen. Rich is a great on air personality and a fan favorite. As far as dual media, how is stating a simple face about a person on the air...negative and wrong? If some one i not on the air...why not ask the board. iAsking what happned to some on is board related. Second of all, I do not have Uncle Rich's number to call him. I don;t see how me being Negaive and/or Wrong has ever come up on this board. Asking questions yes...but not in a negative or wrong way.

I spoke with Uncle Rich today - he is no longer with The Bear.
Practically no radio station has escaped the consequenses of this economic downturn - The Bear is no exception. Managers are having to make a lot of hard choices - and none are very palatable. I'm sure it was very painful for Joe to have to make this cut in particular - Richard has worked for Joe for years - but the folks who have invested money are only interested in the balance sheet.
Uncle Rich will find another gig - Hope is is sooner rather than later......
