The Beat 98.5 SA vs. The Beat 104.3 ATX

Spent the day in Austin yesterday w/ some friends. We were listening to The Beat 104.3. Though I'm not the biggest of fans of hip hop music of today, it seems like 104.3 has a fresher and larger playlist than 98.5. While 98.5 is still playing Lil John 104.3 has moved on past that phase of hip hop. Yes kids the "yeah! What! OK!" thing is not getting old, it IS old. Anyway, just wanted to see what you all perfer, for those who can get both stations-San Marcos people.

i have listen to both and it seems the delivery of the beat in atx is a lot better!!!!

a whole lot better...to bad they traded away thier audience a while back........

second....

the beat in sa has no direct competitor, so they dont need to be creative, unique, or fresh.....
they are on top and wont change their boring delivery until there is a competitor
(i guess thats a backhanded compliment)

you know the old saying...if its not broke dont fix it!

I like Hot 93 acually better than 98.5 The beat, they mix more and have better mixers.

The Beat in Austin is a lot better than the beat in S.A. Beat 104.3 in Austin is different in what they do compare to stations like hot and the beat(SA) which repeat too much and don't be in the streets that much hooking people up with stuff and don't be at most of the events. But I don't understand is why Beat 104.3 a great sounding station that cares about the people have low ratings compared to other Hip-Hop/R&B that sounds boring and don't care about people have higher ratings? Something wrong with this picture.
