The Beat, K-J Y100, KONO

I'd be recommending my listeners tune in online or over a smartphone. While Cox doesn't have a mobile app of its own (at least that I know of), its stations are available on TuneIn and FlyCast. Of course, I deleted FlyCast last week because it started crashing every few minutes!
The ads are different and fewer online than they are over the air. The station benefits more from listeners on AM than it would on streaming. Streaming is a better-than-nothing alternative, but the AM simulcast would be equivalent from an ad standpoint.

I don't mind the ads with online streaming, I just wish they up'ed their streaming quality. Their stream sounds terrible.

Besides audio quality you then half to worry about data usage.

I didn't realize how much I missed listening to The beat, Kono and KJ.

Noticed that KCYY and KONO are now with HD back on. (Too bad they still don't have any HD2s, maybe when Cox gets a new leader they'll add some.)
And I hope KBBT hasn't given up on their HD2 signal. They're HD1 isn't even here yet, but when the HD2 comes back (if it comes back), I think it should play a dance format or something similar. It would be very amusing if they choose to play "Party 977"'s old data, even more so if the playlist hasn't been updated since Party shut down.

Magic's and 106.7's HD-1 signals sound worse than the analog on my receiver. IMO, this is a "be careful what you wish for" scenario. :p

KBBT is back in full HD power now, with outdated top40 music on their HD2 channel. Seems like they just pulled all the Party 977 liners out of the playlist and continued with the same stuff from November.
