The best automation system you've used???

Most terrestrial stations are not aware of http://www.stationplaylist.com/ A system that is widely used in internet radio. Very seldom do I speak highly of a product, but this system will impress.
And there is a facebook page dedicated to SPL. which means you can get nearly instant answers to any problem.

For the past few years I’ve been using Radiologik software since we operate with Apple equipment and operating systems instead of Windoze. Quite happy with it.

Automation Sucks......it takes jobs away from those of us who would like to do what we grew up listening to.Radio today compared to the 60's and 70' is a joke. You can thank the Clinton administration,FCC and a Republican Congress and House for that one.Just thank god the DOJ got involved and kept all those greedy bastards from getting monopolies.

AGREED!!!!!
Would drop freelance gig in a second if had the chance to play vinyl (45's / 33 1/3's) and carts. To be able to record request on reel to reel and play back over requested intro's song. Ahh the good ole' days of radio; when you barely had an idea of what you were playing next.
